This 4-night, 5-day fly-in/fly-out Lhasa Tour is a popular choice for visiting Tibet. Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, boasts a history spanning over 1,300 years and sits at an altitude of 3,650 meters. The city is a center of politics, economy, culture, and religion in Tibet, home to ancient monasteries and temples preserving historical relics, Buddhist scriptures, and traditional arts. With over two million residents, Lhasa offers rich natural beauty, spiritual traditions, and breathtaking landscapes. Lhasa connects internationally only to Nepal (Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu) via Air China, with three weekly flights from May to September. The tour begins with a scenic one-hour flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, offering stunning mountain views. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your hotel. The following days include exploring iconic landmarks such as Potala Palace, Norbulingka Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and the vibrant Barkhor Streets. On the fifth day, you'll fly back to Kathmandu.

The flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3,650 meters /11,975 feet) takes approximately 1 hour. It is a scenic journey offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan Mountain range, including Mount Everest. Lhasa connects internationally only to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Potala Palace and Norbulingka. Potala Palace, perched majestically on a hilltop, is a symbol of Tibet and was built by the great King Songtsen Gampo. Norbulingka, meaning "Treasure Garden," is a serene retreat that showcases Tibet’s rich history and culture.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, and Barkhor Market. Located 5 km north of Lhasa, Sera Monastery is one of the city's most picturesque monasteries. Once home to a community of over 5,000 monks, it remains a significant spiritual site.
After breakfast, visit the Tibetan Medical Institute to explore its rich heritage of traditional healing practices. The afternoon is free for shopping or other activities at your leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Lhasa.
After spending four serene and beautiful days immersed in the Buddhist ambiance, we depart for Kathmandu.
