Continuing westward, the Karo La Pass (5045m) treats us to breathtaking vistas of magnificent glaciers. Upon arriving in Gyantse, we delve into its cultural treasures, including the Khumbum Stupa, Phalkot Monastery, and the well-preserved Gyantse Dzong (fortress), one of Tibet's finest preserved dzongs. Continuing onward, our journey leads us to Shigatse, where we can immerse ourselves in the captivating mountain landscapes along the way.
