This tour offers an immersive journey through the captivating landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Bhutan. Begin in the bustling capital, Thimphu, where you’ll explore historical landmarks, including the impressive Buddha Dordenma and Tashichho Dzong, which reflect Bhutan's unique architecture and spiritual depth. Next, travel through scenic mountain passes to Punakha, home to the majestic Punakha Dzong, beautifully situated at the confluence of two rivers. From Punakha, continue to Paro, a picturesque town that serves as the gateway to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery. Perched dramatically on a cliffside, the monastery is accessible via a rewarding hike, offering breathtaking views and a profound sense of peace, making it a fitting highlight of this unforgettable Bhutanese adventure.
Day 01: Arrive Paro by Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines and proceed to Thimphu

Fly into the Himalayas with Druk Air, Bhutan’s National Air Carrier. Enjoy the flight over green hills and valleys gradually ascending over towering mountains of the Himalayas. It is breathtakingly beautiful especially when the weather is clear. The view of snowcapped peaks of some of the highest mountains on earth captures one’s heart and mind. As the aircraft enters the Paro valley, the Paro Dzong overlooking Paro Chu (river) and the Ta Dzong, (watch tower), now the National Museum, above it is easily noticeable. After completion of airport formalities our representative will receive you at the airport and proceed to Thimphu- Modern Capital city of Bhutan.
Visit to Tashichhodzong, ‘fortress of the glorious dharma’. It is the centre of government and religion, site of King’s throne room, National assembly hall, and seat of Je Khenpo or Chief Abbot. Built in 1641 by the political and religious unifier of Bhutan, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, it was reconstructed in 1961 in traditional Bhutanese manner, without nails or architectural plans. Evening – visit the Thimphu market and take a stroll through the town’s main street. Then, visit Handicrafts Emporium and local shops if you like to browse through example of Bhutan’s fine traditional arts. Here you can buy textiles, thangkha paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, jewellery, interesting items made from local materials, and all manner of unique objects. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
After breakfast, sightseeing of Thimphu valley includes, visit to, Buddha point- world largest sitting buddha, flock heritage Museum, Afternoon, visit to Bhutan Post-where you can take photo or give your own photo to make stamp or poster. If you wish to send in your country also you can send by Bhutan Post. Also visit King’s Memorial Chorten continuously circumbulated by His Majesty’s subjects, spinning prayer wheels and murmuring mantras.
After Lunch; Proceed for a full day to Punakha (Approx 75km/ 3 Hours from Thimphu). Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan and now its district of punakha Dzongkhag. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till 1955.
En-route Dochu la Pass. Visit Douchu la pass (3150m), in this pass most of time snowfall but it is depends on the weather and you can see the ice on opposite of the roadside. The pass is a popular among the tourists because of its 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan range. The place is worth going in clear winter days with magnificent view of snow-capped mountains and mountain pass.
Visit to punakha Dzong: The Punakha Dzong, also known as Pungthang Dewa chhenbi Phodrang, is the administrative centre of Punakha District in Punakha, Bhutan. Constructed by Ngawang Namgyal, 1st Zhabdrung Rinpoche, in 1637–38, it is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhutan and one of its most majestic structures and Suspension Bridge. Overnight in Punakha.
Morning Hike to chimmi lhakhang- Chimi Lhakhang, also known as Chime Lhakhang or Monastery or temple, is a Buddhist monastery in Punakha District, Bhutan. Located near Lobesa, it stands on a round hillock and was built in 1499 by the 14th Drukpa hierarch, Ngawang Choegyel, after the site was blessed by the "Divine Madman" the maverick saint Drukpa Kunley (1455–1529) who built a chorten on the site.
After lunch drive to Paro, stop near chu zom- two river meeting together, visit iron bridge, stop near paro river and enjoy the view of Paro airport. , Visit Ta Dzong, Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), Nya-Mey Zam. Evening spend your time in Paro Market.
Early in the morning, visit paro Dzong , where you can see Guru Thongdrel (Liberation by the sight of it) on the 5th day of the Tshechu, is a masterpiece of silver embroidery of Guru Rinpoche’s eight manifestations and two consorts. Even people from other districts travel to Paro to witness and get blessings from the Thongdrel.
After than hand breakfast at hotel and continued proceed to Tiger Nest Hiking. Take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery hence it is called “Tiger’s Nest”. The excursion to monastery’s view point takes about 5 hours for round trip. While return back visit keychu Lhakhang.

After breakfast drive to the airport for flight to onward destination.
